The UK Government is planning to make a major announcement about the future of the Kinloss Barracks next month.
Sources suggested last night that the announcement could include plans to move more troops to Kinloss.
The possibility of more troops coming to the north was welcomed last night along the coast in Inverness where many travel for shopping or entertainment.
