Quickly Access Google Docs in One Click with The New Chrome Webapps

The next time you want to create a new Google document, spreadsheet, or presentation, you can skip having to go through Google Drive and instead launch one of those apps directly with one click on a new Chrome tab. All you need to do is install the Chrome webapps.

Google's now calling them Docs, Sheets, and Slides. After installing the webapps, you'll see the shortcuts to them whenever you open a new tab?so you can get started on a new document right away.

Even better for Chromebook users, the Docs, Sheets, and Slides will start appearing in your apps list by default in the next few weeks.
